Congratulations on the new baby. We had a bumpy transition when Miss Pink got used to her baby brother. We called it "dethroning" because she learned she is not the Ultimate Supreme Princess.

And why would anyone want to keep the stump? Yuck! That's taking sentimentality too far, in my opinion!

Stumps ARE gross. On any baby other than your own, I think at least, haha. And we still used alcohol on our baby's stump just 5 months ago?

I can't stand people who got all offended when I had to ask them to wash their hands when they wanted to hold my newborn! Happened with both my babies. Like, seriously? Grrr. WASH YOUR HANDS! I don't care if you tell me 'they're clean!' Or 'I'm not sick!'
