HALO SleepSack Swaddle; Conference Giveaway

My first two babies wouldn't be swaddled for nothing. Sure, they liked it just fine in the hospital. Maybe even for a few days at home. But they quickly made their displeasure at their confinement known. Naturally I assumed Miss Savannah would follow in their footsteps. I didn't even bother swaddling her, but soon noticed she was having a difficult time settling down and sleeping for longer than thirty minutes or so. On a whim, I pulled out a swaddler that was given to us...and don't you know? She happily snoozed for hours. HOURS.

She showed me.

Almost four months later, she's still showing me, the stinker.

MomSelect asked if I'd like to try the new HALO SleepSack Swaddle, and naturally I did. I've heard of HALO but have never used their items. The SleepSack Swaddle basically takes their existing SleepSack design, and adds a removable swaddling element to it.

Isn't that color scrumptious?! It's so stinking plush and soft and fabulous I want to snuggle up in it, okay? Ahem.

So what we have here is a wearable blanket, which is a good thing. Babies shouldn't have blankets in their cribs, so a wearable blanket keeps them warm and safe. Then a swaddler is added. The swaddler attaches to the back of the SleepSack, so if your baby decides he doesn't want to be swaddled anymore you can still use the SleepSack. FABulous design, I think.

We didn't get to actually try this product though, because the one we were sent only goes to twelve pounds. And, well, Miss Savannah passed that about two days after she was born. Never fear though, my loss is someone's gain!
