**Winner has been notified**
I can practically guarantee that "tissues" are on every teacher's school supply list. Kids are sneezy, snotty creatures, so tissues are a must for the classroom. This year, when you're picking up the pencils and folders, consider picking up Kleenex's new line of Anti-Viral tissues.
Kleenex Anti-Viral tissues feel just as soft as any other Kleenex tissue, but they have a specially formulated middle layer that kills 99.9% of cold and flu viruses. Technically, they kill Influenza A and B (causes of the flu); Rhinoviruses Type 1A and 2 (Rhinoviruses are the leading cause of the common cold); and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV – leading cause of lower respiratory infection in children). The tissues are moisture-activated, and kill the nasty buggies within 15-minutes. This is great for classrooms, where children usually leave used Kleenex laying around.
Kleenex Anti-Viral has launched a great website called Battle The Bug, full of tips for parents, teachers, and nurses. Each section includes information on cold and flu prevention, including printables and resources. There's even a section for kids, with fun games.
**WIN IT**
Kleenex Anti-Viral wants to help with your back to school shopping this year. One lucky reader will win not only Kleenex Anti-Viral tissues, but also a $50 Visa Gift Card!
To enter, leave a comment letting me know something you do to help Battle The Bug in your family.
For extra entries:
1. Visit Battle The Bug and leave a comment with a tip or statistic you found interesting.
2. Visit Battle The Bug and Join The Battle.
3. Become a fan of Kleenex Anti-Viral on facebook.
4. Share this giveaway on any social media platform (twitter, facebook, etc).
5. Blog about this giveaway.
Leave a separate comment for each thing you do.
Comments will close at midnight, Sunday August 30. Winner will be chosen by random.org drawing and notified via e-mail. Winner will have 48-hours to claim their prize. Contest valid for US addresses only, please.
Blogger has not used Kleenex Anti-Viral tissues, and was not compensated for this giveaway. But if anyone should win $50 for Back To School, it should be one of you!!!

«Oldest ‹Older 1 – 200 of 442 Newer› Newest»In our family we eat healthy and take a multi-vitamin daily. We usually don't get sick!
stoopidgerletsy@yahoo.com
What a great giveaway...thanks!!!
In our family we try to make sure the kids wash their hands (Often) and we also like to take EmergenC when we know we are getting kinda icky.
Thanks a bunch!
Melissa in Mel's World
My family also takes a multi-vitamin and I also keep hand sanitizer with me at all times.

I try to keep my house very clean. I wipe down surfaces with Lysol wipes. We eat healthy too.

Seriously...I had no idea about this statistic, but can totally believe it...
72% of moms surveyed feel cleaning up piles of facial tissues in the house when a family member is sick has contributed to their cold or flu.
i pack a travel bottle of germ-x in each of my kids lunchboxes so that they may sanitize their hands before and after they eat. Even though they also wash before they eat, it still makes me feel better that the germs are completely gone.
To battle the bug, we drink plenty of juice and water. We get plenty of rest and wash our hands after touching foreign objects.
We take multi-vitamins and ALWAYS wash our hands!

Hi Tiffany, the fact I found interesting at Battle the Bug was -
"The middle layer of Kleenex® Anti-Viral* Tissues contains active ingredients that kill 99.9% of cold and flu viruses*"
I totally dread this upcoming flu season. Hopefully it won't be as bad as they suspect.
Thank you for the giveaway! :)
How our family fights the flu is by first, getting a flu shot. The other things are washing hands alot, spraying Lysol through the house if someone happens to come over with the sniffles (I don't even know if that helps but we do it..lol) and lastly trying to keep good health to keep our immune systems up. TY!

We are "sick bay" for one of our grandkids and of course my husband and I don't want to catch everything kids can pass on. We give them their own bag for Kleenex, ask them to remember to "cough into their elbow", wash hands before eating, use disinfectant wipes on things they used or touched (ie phone, computer)
