Dove NutriumMoisture; Review

I was recently asked to try a new line of body wash from Dove, called NutriumMoisture. I'm a sucker for bath products, but this line intrigued me because I've currently got some serious postpartum dry skin issues. Dove NutriumMoisture is available in three varieties, pictured below (Gentle Exfoliating, Deep Moisture, and Sensitive Skin).

So, what's so special about Dove NutriumMoisture? Apparently there's science behind it that provides a much more moisturizing formula than other washes. Watch the video below for Dove's explanation of the science behind NutriumMoisture.

What Dove is telling us is that other body washes include a moisturizer that just sits on top of our skin. NutriumMoisture actually penetrates the skin's surface and moisturizes up to ten layers deep.

Science is all well and good, but the real test is after the shower, right? I've used each of the three varieties of NutriumMoisture in the last few weeks, and I can definitely tell a difference after I shower. My skin feels noticeably better; smoother, softer. The exfoliating wash isn't harsh at all, either. It isn't like a scrub, it's very gentle. My only complaint? They don't come in delicious scents. I'm a scent junkie when it comes to body wash, and usually buy based on scent alone. So as good as these made my skin feel, I'd have a hard time buying them over a super yummy smelling wash.

Blogger was provided with Dove NutriumMoisture body wash in order to do this review.
