Ben & Jerry's Flipped Out; GIVEAWAY

I'm going to let you in on something....I adore Ben & Jerry's. Always have. They are hands down my favorite ice cream company, and no they didn't pay me to say that. I remember when I was 15 or 16, I was happily eating my carton of Chunky Monkey when I chomped on something rather hard. It was a walnut shell!! I set it aside, finished eating my ice cream, then sat down to write Mr. Ben and Mr. Jerry. (this was in the days before e-mail and twitter...when you actually had to put pen to paper to contact someone). I explained to them that I love their products so much that I wanted to let them know there may be a slight problem. I taped the walnut shell (*snort* I know, I was such the product advocate, was I not?)...so I taped the walnut shell to my letter, and told them they may want to check their factory line for shells. I reiterated my love for their ice cream, and ensured they knew I wasn't complaining! I simply wanted to bring this to their attention.

Ben and Jerry? Mailed me coupons for free ice cream. I was forever hooked.

My love goes deeper then the fudge chunks though. Ben & Jerry's is a company with actual real values. That can be hard to come by in this day and age. Excellent product, excellent customer service, and ethical company standards. Amen!

If you follow me on Twitter you saw I hosted a giveaway for Ben & Jerry's newest product, Flipped Out. The fabulous folks behind the ice cream didn't want my blog readers left out, so I have some to give away here too! But first let me tell you about this Flipped Out stuff. (I fully intended to do a video, showing you how fabulous this new product is. But...well....it didn't last that long...*burp*).

What we have here...is a sundae in a cup. You remove the lid from the cup, flip it over, and wait a second. The top of the sundae is a magic (my word, not theirs. Ben & Jerry's make no claims of magic in their ice cream) chocolate coating that starts to melt, giving you a fabulous chocolatey ooey gooey goodness that is better than mere words can describe. Flipped Out comes in three yummy favors; Vanilla Fudge Brownie, Peanut Butter Chocolate, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. It's sold two to a pack, so it's completely sharable (if you're so inclined. Me? I like to hoard it to myself. What?!).
