PictureItPostage; Review and Coupon Code!

In this day of electronic communication it's rare to get anything personal in your real mailbox. I'm a mail junkie too; one of the highlights of my day is checking the mail. I think it goes back to when I was much younger and had a million penpals all over the world. I loved looking at the different stamps, the stationary, even the different handwriting. For a girl growing up in the middle of nowhere it was a fun peek into the bigger world.

Today the only things I bother to snail mail are Christmas cards. It's just so convenient to e-mail a birthday card, or tweet a get well wish. So for my once-yearly mailing I'd like it to be as personal as possible. And what's more personal than putting my own photo on the stamp? At PictureItPostage you upload your photo and they turn it into genuine U.S Postage! I was given the opportunity to try the service out, so I uploaded this photo:
And they sent me these stamps:

How super cute?! You can change the color of the sidebar on the stamps; I was trying to match the colors in the photo, but that didn't really work out. I suggest trying to complement your colors instead of matching, since colors look different in digital format compared to print.

PictureItPostage comes in packs of twenty, and is available in different postal denominations. (a package of $0.44 stamps costs $18.95, plus shipping). The stamps are self-adhesive, and can be printed in either portrait or landscape view. Volume discounts are available.

TRY IT OUT AND SAVE!

Would you like to make your own PictureItPostage? Enter the coupon code MOMMY at checkout, and save $5.00 on one package of twenty stamps. Need to order more? That same coupon code will give you a volume discount of $2.00 per pack for up to nine packages. If you order two packages, that's a savings of $9.00! ($5.00 for the first pack, and $2.00 volume discount times two!).

What would you use PictureItPostage for? I'd love to hear your ideas in the comment section!

How neat! I am so the same way.. I love going to check the mail. I love it even more when there is something personal or a gift there instead of bills hehe.
