Like many pregnant women, I let my sense of fashion slide as I got bigger and bigger. There's only so much you can do with a third trimester belly! Now, just over a week postpartum, I'm still neck deep in the frump. I know eventually I'll climb my way out and be ready to hunt for some new duds. But how to avoid the high cost of fashion? And what exactly is even in style these days?
Well, I've been presented with a Spendervention; a national spending intervention. Off-price retailers TJ Maxx and Marshalls want to show me (and you too!) that's there's a better way to get dressed for Spring than to shop at high priced mall and specialty stores. As I've mentioned many a time, I love me some TJ Maxx and Marshalls. Since their merchandise turns over so quickly, it's like a new store each time I go! Whether I'm browsing through clothing, shoes, or housewares...I know I'll find quality, modern items at very affordable prices.
TJ Maxx and Marshalls have provided me with a mini shopping spree at each store, to prove that fashion is affordable. Since I'm still sporting maternity wear, my shopping is going to have to wait a little bit longer. I'll be sure to let you know what I end up finding on my big trip. In the meantime, let me know what you're planning to add to your wardrobe for Spring. What's in these days?

Oh Tiffany, those shopping sprees sound so exciting (and I'm sure you'll be able to take advantage of them before you know it ;o)
I love colorful, flowy summer dresses.
In Alaska, we don't have a lot of shopping options. Pathetic, I know. I too haven't gone shopping in awhile. I'm still wearing nursing tops. So hopefully soon I'll get to go shopping just for me.
Oooh I want in on this action! I love both stores and anything with the word spree in it. Unless of course the word crime comes before it.
