We delayed the first real bath for awhile because her belly button is still quite...shall we say...gunky. I thought the Dr. may want to apply something to help it dry faster, but nope. We were told to apply alcohol and go on with the bathing. As you can see, Miss Savannah was much pleased with this turn of events. She quickly mastered the art of relaxing in the tub, like any good Southern belle would.

Willow's belly button did this too. I have 4 kids and hers is the only one that needed extra time to heal. Maybe it is something new the doctors are doing these days?
Anyway the pediatrician put silver nitrate in her belly button during a doctors visit.
She's positively squishable! Love the lounge pose :)
