CuteyBaby Wall Decals; Review

As I'm sure you know, wall decals are the newest thing in home decorating. There's a design for everyone, and they're easily applied or changed as often as you like. I've had to sit on the sidelines of this decorating explosion though, since we have textured walls. Our house is pretty old....fifty-some-odd-years. The guy who flipped it textured the walls (which probably provided a faster flipping time frame), so that's what we have. We can paint all day long, but no decals will stick.

If I could change the walls, I would. Wall decals are so incredibly cute, especially in a child's room. And I'd LOVE to play around and use decals to create a showstopping bedroom for my kids (or myself). In my perfect world I'd have a bedroom with soft, dusty pink walls and this cherry tree decal set from CuteyBaby.

Isn't that beautiful? I don't think I've seen anything like it before. It would look fabulous coming out from a corner, arching above a bed. Just simply beautiful. Alas, I'll have to wait for smooth walls.

If you're lucky enough to have flat walls, and are interested in adding some cute wall decals to your kid's room, be sure to check out CuteyBaby. CuteyBaby is the brainchild of Ada Vaughan. Ada has a background in graphic and interior design, which is obvious when you check out her line. Ada sent me her Big Work Trucks decal set and I was super impressed with the quality of this product. The decals are nice and big; they won't get lost on your walls. The designs are just perfect for a child's room. They're the perfect balance between whimsical and professional, and would complement any theme or nursery decor.

Since I have wall issues, I wasn't able to use the decals as designed. We're actually planning a few craft/decorating projects with them. Aiden has a wooden rocking chair that I plan to use some decals on. I'm also thinking the truck decals would be cute on a dresser or toy box.

Have you used wall decals in your home? Or have you used them with a craft project? I'd love to hear your experience. And be sure to stop by CuteyBaby and check out all the cute designs. Which is your favorite?

We have similar truck decals in our oldest son's room and some baby animals in baby's room. And we have 2 big giraffe's in the playroom in the basement, too. I love them!
