Bug & Pickle Review And GIVEAWAY!

Winner is Renee! Congrats!!

I'm a sucker for a cleverly named company. I don't know what it is, but show me a storefront with a cute name and I have to investigate. So when I was contacted by a company called Bug & Pickle, you know I was all over it! Bug & Pickle is a Canadian-based line of body products for moms and babies, and is run by two sisters (Bug and Pickle!). Their product line contains wholesome ingredients and essential oils; things you don't always see in the average products on your drug store shelf.

I was provided with their Belly Cream and Baby Lotion to review.

The Belly Cream is intended to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy. As a third-time mom, it's a little late to prevent those bad boys for me. My first pregnancy left me with as many stripes as a tiger, and my second pregnancy simply re-used those same stretch marks. This time I haven't had any new ones show up, but I still get that tight, itchy pregnant belly feeling from time to time. I've been using Bug & Pickle Belly Cream for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it! It has the lightest hint of a fragrance (lavender, orange blossom, and frankincense) and is so luxurious. It's very thick, and a little goes a long way. What I love most is how quickly it's absorbed. With the lotions I was using before, I had to sit around and wait for the lotion to do its thing before I got dressed. I felt sticky and yucky for awhile, and my clothes would stick to my belly. Not with Bug & Pickle belly cream! I can get dressed almost immediately after applying it, and have no problems.

Since the baby isn't here yet, I volunteered *ahem* to test the Baby Lotion on myself. Again, I was very impressed with how quickly the lotion was absorbed, and how I didn't have that "sticky" lotion feel on my skin. This product also has a very light, delicate fragrance (lavender, orange and chamomile) that just leaves you feeling clean!

It was hard to choose just one because they all look great, but I think the teething oil is my number 1 pick! It sounds like a great alternative to Anbesol. Please contact me at angie_rsmith@tir.com in case I win.
