My Fruit Roll Ups (Review & Giveaway!)

The good people at My Blog Spark invited me to try a new product from the makers of Fruit Roll Ups. It's called "My Fruit Roll Ups"...a customizable, personalized box of Fruit Roll Ups! What a great, kid friendly idea!! The My Fruit Roll Ups website has MANY designs and layouts to choose from, or you can upload your own picture to be printed on the Fruit Roll Up. I chose a Happy Birthday theme for my daughter's upcoming Sweet Sixteen, and added a photo of her. This is the original picture I uploaded:

And here's the finished Fruit Roll Up design:

It's MUCH clearer in person...Fruit Roll Ups are very difficult to photograph!!!

My Fruit Roll Ups come in boxes of thirty and are only available in strawberry. The price is fairly reasonable...about $30 per box, plus shipping. They make PERFECT party favors, or great "just because" gifts. Shipping is supposed to take no more than fifteen days, but mine took a bit longer. I'm sure that was due to the holidays, but it was still frustrating when the website kept showing a ship date that had come and gone...and no Fruit Roll Ups had arrived. I finally called customer service and was told the Fruit Roll Ups hadn't even been made yet. So be patient if you do order from My Fruit Roll Ups, and don't rely on the dates in your order confirmation!

My Blog Spark generously provided me with a code for a second box of My Fruit Roll Ups for one of my readers! That's right...one of you will get to design your own box of My Fruit Roll Ups for that special someone in your life. To enter, leave a comment telling me which design you like at My Fruit Roll Ups, or what event you'll be using My Fruit Roll Ups for! Winner will be randomly chosen on Monday January 19. PLEASE provide a means of contacting you in your comment or I'll have to delete your entry. Winner will receive a code via e-mail, which will cover the cost (and shipping!) of one box of My Fruit Roll Ups.

This will probably sound silly, but I would love to use this to make a gift for a woman I'm sweet on.

My daughter is going on a competition trip with her music class. It would be fun to have some made with music notes and the word "Rockstar" along with her picture. Then pull them out to share on the bus trip. What fun that would be!!!
